VWISH offers peer support services for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. Clients are paired with a peer support specialist that will help them navigate aspects of their transition. Services include listening ear, transportation to short distances, assistance with daily living activities, sharing resources (i.e. childcare, grocery stores, clothing clothes). More importantly peer support is to help women through this troubling time and give a sense of hope that things will get better.
