VWISH offers safe stays for persons in need of temporary housing because of exiting an abusive relationship. The safe stays cover up to three nights stay in a hotel for persons who are either waiting for an emergency bed in a shelter, exiting the shelter, waiting in transition for permanent housing or transitioning to another emergency shelter. To be eligible for services,

1. You must be age 18 years or over, 

2. Have a safety plan in place and 

3. Must be a resident of or fleeing to Forsyth County, North Carolina
